A Night of Confidence: Abaya Rally Qatar Highlights

There are nights that don’t just pass.
They land. They shift you.

Lusail International Circuit transformed into a glowing stage where women didn’t just show up, they owned the road.
This wasn’t just another event. This was Abaya Rally Qatar Edition, and I had the honor of being both behind the wheel and behind the camera.

🏁 On the Track

Lined up beside other incredible women; the soft rumble of engines, abayas flowing, calm confidence everywhere.. it wasn’t a race, but it was a powerful statement:

We are here. And we drive our own narratives.

Inside the car, the energy was electric. Windows down, camera rolling, and heart racing.. not from fear, but from belonging.
I wasn’t just “in” the rally. I was part of the story.

🎤 The Panel Talk That Hit Home

Titled “Empowered in Abaya: Women of Purpose, Ambition, and Vision for a Sustainable Future,” the evening’s panel was nothing short of powerful.

Hearing Nada Zeidan, Narges Raiss, Marwa Al Saleh, Rasha Al Barghouthi, and Asma Abdul Ghaffar speak candidly with Leila Smiti moderating — was like sitting in on a masterclass in resilience, ambition, and unapologetic femininity.

I left that panel reminded that wearing an abaya is not a limitation, it’s a language. And last night, it spoke loud and clear.
