WHERE TO: Spend your next iftar on a helipad experience

Breaking my fast with an enthralling Iftar experience at Fraser Suites Westbay amid the inviting ambience of Doha’s luxury savvy picturesque scene, spending it with friends, family and such, a lavish 4 course supper offering an array of the most known Arabic and local dishes, Ramadan drinks and a wide spread of sweets for 1,250 riyals is something that I would love and experience once more.

I actually needed to overcome my dread of heights to get to the top (47th floor) and man, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I was escorted to the hotel’s hidden hallways preceded with countless dreamy romantic candlelit as I pass through. If you’re like me, wearing heels and skirt just for the sake of “doing it for the gram” is one I would NOT recommend. Thus, they offer a slip on shoe for your own risk and comfort.

When I got up there, my heart was truly hopping with joy as I made it and felt like I was On Top of the World. Kudos to Fraser Suites Westbay staffs for setting up a splendid traditional Arabic majilis for a group of individuals (say 4 to 8 adults) and make the most of our scrumptious Iftar meal. They also offer a distinctive suhour at a similar cost (1,250 qr) and 3k for couples looking to oomph their intimate experience accessible upon request.

To witness the savoring sunset glow, setting below a cloudless horizon to the magnificence of Doha’s glitzy cityscape shimmering from afar, calmly sitting tight waiting for the prayer as we break our fast; It was indeed a doozy experience to have spent iftar on a one-of-a-kind helipad.

On a side note, Fraser Suites Westbay offer yoga sessions, in the cold months for a cost of 40 per head.
